"Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity."
Horace Mann - Antioch University's First President

Hello, my name is Daniel Ricica, Associate Professor of Marketing at Sinclair Community College. Welcome to my homepage.  I am a graduate of Sinclair Community College with an Associates Degree in Management and Printing Technologies. I received my Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Management from The McGregor School of Antioch University. I worked in business for 23 years prior to coming to Sinclair Community College. I held many different positions in Marketing throughout my career such as Product Costing, Sales, Sales Management, and Product Manager. I like to bring a lot of real world experiences to my classroom. I encourage my students to do the same. I believe you learn by participating and interacting in and out of the classroom. An education is very important to the success of an individual. I am here to help any student succeed in their educational endeavors in any way I can.

Purple Cow Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable

On January 27, 2008, my Marketing 201 and 202 students visited a local Starbucks operation. The purpose of our trip was to learn how Starbucks markets their products and as a company. The students learned some of the unique marketing strategies that Starbucks implements in order to capture and grow their marketshare. They learned that Starbucks is a true purple cow organization. Below you will see pictures from our visit.
