Warning Description: Winter Storm Warning

Warning Date: 4:12 am EST on February 9, 2010

WarningSum:...Winter Storm Warning Remains In Effect Until 6 Pm Est
Wednesday...

Warning Message:A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM EST
Wednesday. 
Snow will continue over the region today. In addition to the 1 to
2 inches expected around daybreak...another 2 to 4 inches should
fall today. A lull in the snow is expected late this afternoon
and evening. The low will exit and flow will turn over Lake
Michigan...with lake effect snow showers expected overnight
through Wednesday. This additional snow will push storm total
amounts to 4 to 8 inches. Furthermore...windy conditions will
develop late tonight resulting in blowing and drifting snow
through Wednesday.
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow  significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. If you must
travel...keep an extra flashlight... food...and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
