What I do: |
I serve as Dean of Liberal Arts, Communication, and Social Sciences at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio. I started teaching at Sinclair in January, 1987, and became Chair of Art in September, 1996. At Sinclair I have taught art history classes: Ancient Art, Medieval Art and Renaissance Art, Modern Art, History of Women Artists, Art Appreciation, and The Business of Art.

In September of 2002, I became interim Dean of the Division of Fine and Performing Arts and “real” dean in June, 2003.
On July 1, 2007, the academic divisions reorganized and I became Dean of Liberal Arts, Communication and Social Sciences. The division houses: Academic Foundations, Art, Child and Family Education, Communication Arts, Dance, Design, English, Humanities, Geography, Government, Modern Languages, Music, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, and Theatre.
I am proud of the high quality of our faculty, programs, art galleries, concerts, and plays. If you would like a Calendar of Events or a tour, please contact me!
